Where Are They Now?

Joey Goodkight

Well, I had no idea at the time but the shy kid too nervous to even sing a solo at PAG auditions had performance become a lifelong hobby!

After 9 years of shows with PAG, I joined the Nevada Union High School Choir. Eventually after that, I spent 4 years as part of an a cappella group at UC Berkeley (Noteworthy).

Now, performing with the Harvard-Radcliffe Gilbert and Sullivan Players and singing in the Harvard University Choir keeps me sane while I work on a PhD in Chemical Physics.

Communication and presentation skills, I have learned, are so phenomenally important no matter where life takes you. And that's really what's great about PAG: PAG had me speaking in front of crowds of hundreds before I was even a teenager! Presentation to 50 people? Ha! no big deal; I was doing harder things than that in 5th grade.

PAG not only prepared me so well for communicating and presenting to people, but also gave me some of my best friends who I still keep up with today; for both of these reasons I will be eternally grateful.
